Overview

Symbolica documentation for getting started, symbolic expressions, numerical evaluation, pattern matching, and APIs in Python and Rust.

RustRed

Native RustRed generation and lazy artifact views in HEPKit’s shared kernel.

Start from hepkit.IBPFamily(...).start_generation(...) to retain the usual HEPKit Graph, routing, and integral-family objects. This namespace exposes the same session/result types and optional text-input entry point, without importing a second Symbolica extension. Native builds provide background sessions; Pyodide builds execute synchronously with one worker. Query execution_capabilities() before offering live polling or cancellation.

Functions

candidate_generation_request
execution_capabilities Describe worker limits, background sessions, live events and cancellation
start_family_candidates

candidate_generation_request

candidate_generation_request(source: str, **options: object) -> CandidateGenerationRequest

execution_capabilities

execution_capabilities() -> dict[str, object]

Describe worker limits, background sessions, live events and cancellation.

Pyodide executes synchronously with one worker and returns a completed session. Its buffered events describe completed work, not live progress.

start_family_candidates

start_family_candidates(
    source: str,
    *,
    event_capacity: int = 256,
    **options: object,
